Cosmetic Items are optional unlockable elements in Paladins that have no effect on gameplay. Most of these cosmetics are unlocked with either 
Gold or 
Crystals, but there are also some that are unlocked through special promotions and events. Some cosmetics can only be obtained by rolling Treasure Chests.
There are several categories of cosmetics in the game.
- Standard cosmetics: These are regular cosmetics that are always available in the Store.
- Exclusive cosmetics: These are cosmetics that are related to promotions, holidays, treasure chests and events. These cosmetics will usually return as part of other promotions, events or in treasure chests.
- Limited cosmetics: These are unique cosmetics that are only available for a limited period of time, and once they are disabled, they can no longer be obtained through conventional means.
- Unlimited cosmetics: These are unique cosmetics that are available for a limited time during a event, and, once the event ends, can be unlocked for the full event price.
Champion specific Cosmetic Items
Champion Skins and Weapon Skins
Champion Skins allow players to customize the look of their Champions while weapon skins change the appearance of the weapon they use. These items can be equipped and changed through the Customize tab in the champion's profile. Weapons and champion skins can be mixed and matched.
These item pairs are generally bundled together into Collections. Emotes, MVP poses or sprays associated with a collection will usually also be unlocked along with the champion and weapon skins. Skins are separated in different tiers, each tier having more customized elements and higher cost than the previous one:
- Common: Simple color changed or "recolored" versions of the default skins. These skins cost 30000
or 160 . - Uncommon: A full color scheme change of the default skins. These skins cost 40000 or 200 .
- Rare: Minor model changes and upgrades along with re-textures from the default skins. These skins cost 250 .
- Epic: Full model changes with a different theme than the original's. They may also have special visual effects and animation changes. These skins cost 400 .
- Legendary: Full model changes with a different theme than the original's that include major animation changes and new special visual effects. These skins cost 500 .
There are some Rare champion skins without any weapon attached to them that are available for 200 , and some stand-alone Rare weapon skins that cost
125 to unlock.

Voice Packs
Voice Packs are cosmetic items that replace the default announcer's VGS (Voice Guided System) voice lines when playing a Champion. Each Voice Pack is bound to each Champion and can't be used with any of the other ones. Voice Packs cost 200 Crystals per Champion and will unlock their current and future Voice Packs automatically. These Packs not only grant custom voice lines for the character, but if available, they also unlock the set of VGS voice lines for any Skins owned for that Champion in particular. Prior to the removal of the Parts and Pieces system, Voice Packs could be used with any Skin associated with the Champion interchangeably. Today, players can choose which set of voice lines they'll use in a match at the champion selection screen, where they have the option to pick between "Default" (which uses the default announcer's voice), "Champion" (which uses the default voice set for that champion), or "Skin" (which uses the voice set for the champion skin chosen).
Owning the Founder's Pack or the Champions Pack automatically unlocks every Champion Voice Pack for all current and future Champions in the game.
Emotes
Emotes replace the default emotes of a champion. Each emote is exclusive to each champion and can't be equipped by any other one. Players can choose which emotes a champion will use from the Customize tab in the champion's profile. The player can select up to four Emotes with the Cosmetic Wheel. The available emotes of a champion are listed at the respective champion's page.
Emotes can only be obtained from 
Gold Chests or the Battle Pass.
MVP Poses
MVP (Most Valuable Player) poses replace the default pose used by a champion on the after match screen. It is also used on the player selection lobby for the 4 teammates' characters. Each MVP pose is exclusive to each champion and can't be equipped by any other one. Players can choose which MVP pose a champion will use from the Customize tab in the champion's profile. The available MVP Poses of a champion are listed at the respective champion's page.
Most MVP poses can only be obtained from Gold Chests or the Battle Pass.
Mastery Items
Mastery items are special kinds of cosmetics that only become available after reaching certain mastery levels with a champion.
- Mastery MVP: These MVP poses cost 10000 or 40 to unlock. It becomes available after reaching mastery level 5 or higher with a champion.
- Mastery Emote: These emotes cost 15000 or 60 to unlock. It becomes available after reaching mastery level 9 or higher with a champion.
- Obsidian Collection: These skin collections cost 30000 or 160 to unlock. It becomes available after reaching mastery level 14 or higher with a champion.
- Cosmic Collection: These skin collections cost 40000 or 200 to unlock. It becomes available after reaching mastery level 20 or higher with a champion.
- Golden Collection: These skin collections are rewarded after reaching mastery level 50 with a champion.

Sprays are a type of Cosmetic Items in Paladins. They are decals that players can apply to surfaces on any map, or 3D illusions that appea on top of the character's head. The spray function is bound to the T key by default. Players can choose which sprays their champions will use from the Loadout tab in the player's profile. The player can select up to four sprays with the Cosmetic Wheel.

Avatars
Avatars are a type of Cosmetic Items in Paladins and are small pictures for the player's profile which are displayed near the player name. Players can choose which Avatar is displayed from the Avatar tab in the player's profile.

Death Stamps are Cosmetic Items that allow players to leave a Death Stamp, where they killed an enemy.

Titles
Titles are a type of cosmetic item that is equipped on the account profile screen. Once equipped, they will display a text under the player's name. Titles can be unlocked by earning certain awards, or from 
Flair Chest and from certain promotions, events and bundles. Players can also unlock a champion's title for equip by achieving Mastery level 30 with that champion.
