+ | *Maeve and Tiberius have no connection or relationship whatsoever aside from being part of the same species, as stated here. It's also mentioned that the card that shows them together is likely where Maeve's affinity for knives started. It's explained here that the card shows Maeve's attempt at robbing him. |

⚫ | *Maeve's left sleeve could be seen in the original Magistrate's Archives map, as shown here. This was later removed when the map received a visual rework, though is still considered canon due to the old version of the map appearing in Yagorath's card Raze and Burn. |
||
+ | *As implied by Yagorath (<sm2>Yagorath_TR_Taunt_Directed_Maeve.ogg</sm2>) Maeve's ultimate doesn't blind people, but snatches the light itself away. |
||
+ | *According to Paladins artist Thunderbrush here, despite Maeve's young appearance, she is apparently of adult age. |

Revision as of 19:01, 22 January 2021
Maeve is a Flank Champion in Paladins, added on February 8th, 2017.
Lore
After making a name for herself as a skilled thief and knife-fighter, the half-tigron Maeve decided to join the war for personal gain, selling her services to the highest bidder. She dashes from shadow to shadow with unnatural agility, concealed by her magical longcoat — a souvenir from one of her most daring burglaries: the Magistrate's fortress keep.
While her employers find her talents useful, they often complain of suspiciously-misplaced valuables and lost coins after she moves on to the next fight.
Summary
Maeve is a flank champion who is extremely mobile and has good Burst Damage potential with her talent Cat Burglar. She is able to quickly throw two high damaging daggers at a time. Her Pounce and Prowl skills let her constantly be on the move while her Nine Lives skill resets the cool down of all her abilities. Her ultimate ability is Midnight, which limits the vision of her enemies, which makes way for plays. Her passive skill is a double jump ability.

Trivia
- Maeve and Tiberius have no connection or relationship whatsoever aside from being part of the same species, as stated here. It's also mentioned that the card that shows them together is likely where Maeve's affinity for knives started. It's explained here that the card shows Maeve's attempt at robbing him.
- Maeve's left sleeve could be seen in the original Magistrate's Archives map, as shown here. This was later removed when the map received a visual rework, though is still considered canon due to the old version of the map appearing in Yagorath's card Raze and Burn.
- As implied by Yagorath (▶️) Maeve's ultimate doesn't blind people, but snatches the light itself away.
- According to Paladins artist Thunderbrush here, despite Maeve's young appearance, she is apparently of adult age.
- According to Maeve's emote 'Copy Cat', Maeve may have stolen Ying's mirror from her at some point.
- Based on a dev statement revealing Viktor to be around 5'9 or 175cm tall, it was discovered that Maeve would be around 4'6 or 137cm tall.
- In older versions of Paladins, there used to be a number of additional recolors of default champions. For Maeve, these recolors included the Guttersnipe and Riff Raff skins.
- Having been present in the mobile game 'Paladins Strike', Maeve received unique skins exclusive to Strike. These skins include Cyber Ninja Maeve and Scarlet Blade Maeve.
- Vagrant
- A vagrant is someone without a settled home, wandering around and surviving off begging.
