Lore

Tales of the legendary adventurer Sha Lin have spread far and wide across the Realm, recounting his heroic exploits and death-defying antics. During his short lifetime, he's already helped topple warlords, recovered long-lost artifacts, and betrayed the infamous Thousand Hands Guild.

He's pierced as many hearts with his magical longbow as he has broken with his silver tongue, but even he has a stake in the current conflict between the Magistrate and the Resistance, standing up to the oppressive Magistrate on behalf of the common folk.

Summary

Sha Lin is a damage champion and an oppressive ranged attacker, who fires high damage arrows, dealing more damage the longer they are charged. The Crippling Arrow allows him to cripple enemies. Rapid Shot allows Sha Lin to fire many arrows in a short burst. Withdraw (which lets him backflip away) and his Ultimate skill, Heat Haze, both grant Sha Lin stealth, making him invisible, making him harder to track down and allowing him to slip away when under fire. However, he is very reliant on his skills and will be easily taken out while on cooldown. Player awareness and anti-stealth effects are also a harsh counter against him.

Draw back your longbow every 1.5s to fire deadly arrows that deals up to 1000 damage.

Detailed Description

A Longbow that draws back and releases an arrow for up to 1000 damage every 1.5s. Fully effective up to 450 units. Will travel less and deal less damage if released before it is fully charged. A new arrow is nocked 0.5s after firing and drawn back over 1s. Your Movement Speed is reduced by 10% while your bow is drawn.

• This ability deals Direct Damage.
• Arrows arc less the longer you draw them.
• Does not have ammo and has no reload.
• Lowers Sha Lin's movement speed by 10% while it is drawn.
• Has reduced accuracy while airborne.
• Has base gravity scaling on arrows of 0.8.
• Has no gravity scaling from fully drawn arrows.
• Has a minimum projectile speed of 300 which gets faster the longer you draw.
• 1.5s from description consists of 1s draw time and 0.5s post-fire. Effects that alter draw speed only affect this 1s draw.
• Generates between 0.5% and 5% ultimate charge depending on how long the bow is charged.

• This ability deals Direct Damage.
• It deals no additional damage to the arrow at base, and applies on-hit effects.
• Can be used with drawn Long Bow without having to re-draw it.
• Can be toggled off by re-activating the skill without incurring a cooldown.
• Generates the same amount of ultimate charge as the regular Longbow.

Rapidly fire a maximum of 5 fully-charged arrows over 1.8s while moving, dealing 600 damage per arrow with 200% increased draw speed. While using this ability your Movement Speed is decreased by 20%. Can be reactivated to cancel. Acts as a weapon shot.

• This ability deals Direct Damage.
• Sha Lin automatically fires a total of 5 shots over the duration.
• Reduce your Movement Speed by 20% while this ability is active
• Has reduced accuracy while airborne.
• Cancels Crippling Arrow and Withdraw if it is active.
• Can be used while Stealthed from Withdraw.
• Each arrow generates 3% ultimate charge, for a total of 15%.
• Cannot be used in Heat Haze.

Enter Stealth and increase your Movement Speed by 30% for 8s. While active, you draw your Longbow 50% faster and Reveal yourself each time you fire.

• During Heat Haze Sha Lin can use his other skills, but not Rapid Shot.

Detailed Description

The next shot fired from your bow is an Impaler Arrow that applies Knockback on hit and Stuns the target for 1s if they hit a wall. Can be toggled by reactivating the ability.

• This ability deals Direct Damage.
• It is fired just like regular arrows, deals the same damage based on how long is drawn and applies on-hit effects.
• Can be used with drawn Long Bow without having to re-draw it.
• Can be toggled off by re-activating the skill without incurring a cooldown.

Detailed Description

After 0.6s, plant yourself in place for 2.3s, becoming unable to move. While Planted, you automatically fire a maximum of 6 fully-charged arrows dealing 800 damage per arrow with a 200% increased draw speed. Can be reactivated to cancel. Acts as a weapon shot.

• This ability deals Direct Damage.
• Sha Lin automatically fires a total of 6 shots over the duration.
• There is a 0.6s delay before the shots start being fired.
• There is a 0.4s delay between each shot.
• Has reduced accuracy while airborne.
• Cancels Impaler Arrow if it is active.
• Can be used while Stealthed from Withdraw.
