Sprays are a type of Cosmetic Items in Paladins. They are decals that players can apply to surfaces on any map, or 3D illusions that appear on top of the character's head. The spray function is bound to the T key by default.
Players can choose up to four different sprays with the Cosmetic Wheel, from the Loadout tab in the player's profile, allowing players to use the selected sprays in matches.

Beta Sprays
Beta Sprays
These sprays could only be acquired during the beta phase of the game, but became unobtainable after April 26, 2018. However, players who already owned them are still able to equip and use them.
All-Use Sprays
Unlike most sprays from the beta period, these could be equiped by all champions. The exception is Front Line Victory Spray, which could only be equiped by Front Line Champions.
- The number displayed on the "Slayer Spray" changes to display the player's number of eliminations during that match.
- The number displayed on the "Front Line Victory Spray" is the same as the number of matches won by the player while playing as a front line champion.
Splash Art Sprays
These Sprays depicted the splash art of most Champions as well as Rare, Epic, and Legendary Skins released, re-released, or reworked in Paladins' mid-to-late beta phase. They were usually associated with their respective skin collections, and could be obtained by buying the collection itself, either through Chests or direct purchase. They're now only available via Deal of the Day.
Card Art Sprays
These Sprays depicted the art on all Champions until OB70, where they were then made unobtainable. These sprays could be obtained from Radiant Chest rolls, and any players who owned these Sprays were able to keep them.

Trivia
- The RIP OB64, Classy Barik, Enara, Gurk, and Merster Riding sprays were created by community members as part of the 'Goodbye Cards Unbound - The Community Bad Art Contest', a contest centered around the removal of the infamous Cards Unbound mechanic introduced with Open Beta 64.[1][2]
- The Festive Bomb King, Festive Evie, Festive Grover, Festive Kinessa, and Festive Makoa sprays were also created by a member of the community, that being MilaTheMute.
- The various chibi sprays were also created by a community member, this one being Jarosław Kargul.
- The 5th Anniversary spray, despite the name, was instead given out as a reward for the game's 4th Anniversary. Despite this mistake being pointed out, it was insisted it was still the 5th Anniversary, partially seeming to claim the spray was instead a reward for the game's 5th season instead, despite it being released in the third update of Season 5, which is closer to the game's actual anniversary of its full launch, the official Twitter account still treating the spray as a birthday reward, and the previous year's Paladins' 3rd Birthday spray also being treated as a birthday reward, as well as being released in the fourth update of Season 4.
- The Red Asssasin and Blue Assassin sprays bear some resemblance to Vatu. It is unknown if these sprays inspired Vatu, were an incredibly early tease, or a coincidence.
- Many sprays feature unique versions of champions not available as skins, these include the Festive Barik, Festive Cassie, Festive Seris, Flapper Evie, Pinup Furia, Hippie Ying, Boyband Koga, Grunge Imani, Basic Witch, Cleocatra, Snack Time, Witch's Flight, Classy Barik, and Give Me a V! sprays.
- Though the 'Cheerful!', 'Compassionate!', 'Fierce!', and 'Gallant!' sprays only feature the skins in their default colors, concepts for the various other colors does exist.[3]
- The Ill-Prepared spray is in reference to the "You have died of dysentery" meme from The Oregon Trail.
- The Shallow End spray was based on former Paladins' Community Manager Romanova's roommate's corgi.[4]
- The You Challenged Me?! spray is a reference to the "It was me! Dio!" meme from Part 1 of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.
- The Above the Waves spray is a reference to a scene from The Little Mermaid.
- The Okay Fine Whatever! spray may be a reference to stereotypical tsunderes in anime, which are known for acting arrogantly, as shown in the spray itself, as well as the name of the spray.
- The Catfight! spray may be a reference to the game River City Girls.
- The Feeding Frenzy spray may be a reference to the video game series of the same name.
- The Terrible Fate spray is a reference to an iconic line from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask].
- The Lost Future spray originally had an additional concept where it would've instead been a spray-painted message that read "Atlas was wrong!!"[5]
- Various concept and unused sprays for the Dark Depths Event Pass can be seen here, notably including unused jellyfish sprays, the Bang! spray firing one of Bomb King's bombs, and a spray of Leviathan Yagorath approaching Mernos from underwater.
